Motivated by the breathtaking contrasts of Iceland’s Vestrahorn mountain and its surrounding landscapes, this piece reflects the interaction between rugged terrain, melting glaciers, and tranquil waters. Comprising two hand-blown glass forms Vestrahorn captures the delicate, translucent beauty of ice and its striking resemblance to glass. This work embodies the fleeting, fragile nature of Iceland's environment, while also exploring the balance between resilience and impermanence in the natural world.
